Nice, that is a neat way to spice up a set of plain black wheels.

I'll be honest, I forget that we have other sections on the forum some times.

Are you still making the shift knobs? When i can scrape up some cash, i want to get one.

No cutting or drilling, mount right through the factory holes. If you want to keep the license plate mount, you have to cut it. But yea, here's the patterns.

Did a tune up. Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Made a difference!

Getting ready for a trip to Sedona and Moab. Installed a Poison Spyder Steering Box Skid and a Teraflex HD Oil Pan Skid. Took me about an hour to install both.

The lights have fully functioning blinker, break, and reverse lights with reflector strips included and are visible from the side. (They have side LEDs) And under TN state laws it's legal, I talked to my friend who's a cop. It's not legal in all states and some cities have their own ordinances against lighting. But here, it's legal.

I think they would be ok in Texas too.. you wouldnt know that they arent DOT, but will have to check the state inspection laws. The headlights have to be DOT, thats why I went with Trucklite LEDs..
anyway, I am really going to pull the trigger on these it looks like.. I have been looking at them for a few weeks. I really dont want to cut the tub that much to put in flush mounts and these are pretty close to flush.
I would probably prefer to go with an aftermarket lisc plate holder w LED lighting too, just dont know if all of this works together or will I have to cut or bend up a new mount? I am looking at this..

Yes, we can buy them. Most aren't "DOT approved" because the maker can't guarantee how they'll be used, and it relives them of some of the liability. DOT standards are a little out of date, IMO. The size specifications for some lights, even though they made sense with incandescent lights, doesn't carry over very well with LED's.

Did you get a used one or a new one. I'm considering this swap since mine has play in it

Many people use it as a replacement as the internal components are more stout than the TJ OE box.

Looked nice out this morning. Forecast yesterday said it was gunna be sunny the rest of the week. So I went out and took the top down. Looked out a window again an hour ago...looked gloomy, checked the updated forecast and see storms rolling in and gunna be that way till Sunday...just put the top back up. I wish there was an app for that...

Today, I mixed myself a delicious iced coffee, went out on the porch to enjoy a cigarette with it, and sat and admired my TJ. Despite the death wobble and all of its bumps and bruises.
