What did you use to degrease the engine? I need to do that and need to know what works best. Thanks!

Beginning my clutch work. Having to cut off my skidplate bolts. This one happened to rip out while using a crow bar as a lever in order to get a bolt out... As you can see that was not so successful hahaha. Thank god I have a good welder.

It wasn't bad I was reversing into a spot and I locked my wheel for some reason and went too fast. It bent my flare but just a little mark on their car. It'll buff out but I left a note with my number it was just nerve wracking

Oh okay well that's good. Glad it was nothing major.
I know how that is, I smacked into an illegal, luckily no damage to either vehicle because I slammed onto my brakes when he pulled out in front of me. Granted his vehicle had dents and dings all over. The guy was laughing and said "It's piece of ____. Have good day Señor."

I hope not, the hardest part for me will hopefully be finding a ball joint press with the Jeep adapter I can borrow

Did you atleast take some pics of the damage of the other car first before you left?

There was no body damage just a scuff really so I didn't think to do it. I really should have.

Hopefully there won't be one, but next time take pics, try to find the owner or worst case, have the police come fill out a report.

I don't undersrand why you say involving the police is "worst case". I am a police officer, though in management and not on patrol these days. That said, if this occurred in a parking lot, local police might not even respond. I do agree with your advice to document and photograph. That is good common sense. Don't just take pictures of the parts that are damaged, but the entire vehicle.

Call your insurance and just give them a heads up. They will just watch for it if you end up getting claimed say for a whole new front end

Found a use for my hood prop rod today and cleaned out my cowl drain for the first time since I've had it. This is just the second and smaller pile of crap that came out of there.

Right in the center of the firewall you will find the bottom end of it. To access the top, remove the wipers, then remove the 4 screws seen in the cowl are going in towards the windshield, one screw in the cowl vent and two screws (one on each side) where the hood closes down. Pop the cowl section off and push something down through that. Hopefully it will cure some of my damp passenger floor board, and it seems my A/C is twice as cold than it was before.

Thanks guys. It was first incident and honestly just a scuff off my fender onto the back. No actual body damage was done luckily. Thank you though I didn't really know all this stuff but now I know in case something really does happen that is serious

I added my custom designed vinyl. As an Appalachian State University Grad, this is an homage to our old mascot design when I was there in the 80's.
