That's what I really want to do. Need to build some kind of cover out here so it can sit a few days while being worked on

Fixed my broken door strap with the Warrior velcro ones. Broke a drill bit drilling out the broken old hardware.

Thankfully I now have door limiting straps.

Ok, thanks. Can it be unwired without ill effects, or just bad idea. I've seen my driving, so I figure I'm gonna need quite the learning curve for wheeling

Replaced what looked like factory 5.25" speakers with Kicker KS525. Sounds great!

First oil change for the Jeep. Cleaned up the undercarriage a bit and inspected for rust and other issues. Swapped spark plugs. Fixed my broken rear defroster tab (hopefully).

I was going to sell and replace but WTF, $32k for a new Jeep? My Jeep runs good but didn't look real good so here's what's in process:

- dropped off hard top to get painted satin black
- pulled front and rear bumpers plus hitch; at powder coater
- ordered new side mirrors
- ordered new rear window hinges
- ordered compact Mopar bumper ends
- ordered Destination A/T tires
- taped off flares with cards and plastic; will paint flares and steps with satin black
- made arrangements to get my wheels powder coated then new A/Ts

Hope to have everything finished before 6/21. Will post pics when done.

Good man! This is what I had planned with my truck after I wrecked but had to much on my plate to finish the project. I figured 10 grand total(including original purchase price) into a 15 year old truck and I'd have one bad ass truck that I could still work on. Compared to upwards of 50 grand for something I can't touch because of computers.

Dropped the tranny, installed a new clutch kit and replaced the rear main seal while I was there. Ground all the rust scale off the frame rails and trans skid plate, primed, repainted it, and put it all back together. Much nicer to have a clutch that lets out at the bottom of the pedal instead of at the top!

Got some new tires for her. Had to go to 2 different tire places because one only had 4 tires when they thought they had 5.

Didn't do anything yet... But I spread the love for my delivery drivers today! Got packages: 1 from USPS (front bumper end caps), 1 from FedEx (radiator) and 2 from UPS (Goodyear belt and fog light bar for front bumper).
Went a little crazy on amazon... Lol
I had to work the early Father's Day present in there!
