Wife called and said that the airbag light is on and radio, blower and signals aren't working... looks like I've got to do some searching on the culprit.

[QUOTE=NorthIdahome;3838127]
Oh. And got pulled over for no mudflaps or wide enough fender flares for the fourth time. Any ideas for flaps on a tj?

[QUOTE=JAK;3838722]That's a thing?
Had no idea that was a law.

[QUOTE=Timt97;3838762]Never heard of that either... Note to self, don't move to Idaho... I don't think I've seen mudflaps on a jeep. See what your local dealer says. I'm sure they've run into this.

[QUOTE=bmpage84;3838795]Most States have a tire width/fender flare law to some degree. Enforcement of it is the issue. My state is pretty relaxed about it, but you do end up with a yahoo every now and again that stops everything for anything just to start a fishing expedition!

Got curious about this & CT...found this:

That's the write up I followed for the most part. I was just worried that the quik weld wouldn't hold up in the long run

Suggestion...having done mine (twice) use a mirror on the floor aimed up behind dash. Use a flashlight angling off mirror to see also, and take off the glove box door (disconnect strap and tilt all the way down) took me about 20 minutes last time....took me about an hour the first time...and having just done it feel I could do it in about 10...but by the time I need to do it again I probably won't be able to....

Well not today but since my last post installed my Superwinch 9k winch from my old CJ, purchased a like new black soft top with tinted windows off a 2006 TJ, painfed front axle and frame, repainted with spray on bed liner my rockers.
And ordered me a G2 Dana 44 with 456, s Detroit and disc brakes.
Pretty happy about all of it!

I left out the best one...if you use the mirror correctly and have the light just "right" and can work like a "dentist" (see things in the mirror and still adjust) and look through the glovebox...you can do the whole job sitting in the passenger seat.

no cover on mine......if you look towards the firewall just ahead of the "dome light", you can see one of the 2 screws that holds the resistor on my '04.

Thanks for the quick pics. I definitely do not have a cover. Everything seemed so exposed tomebut hey, its a jeep lol. Maybe one of these days I snatch one from a part out.
