It makes a difference. I did mine a couple weeks ago with my 31s. Unless you know you're jeeps "feelings" 100% you notice a huge difference, but when I drove mine the first time after. I could tell the big difference.

my new marine grade 400 Watt, 4 channel speaker amp came in the mail today. it took me about 5 hours to figure it all out, but after a lot of googling, some testing, a trip to the store, and a lot of cutting plastic with a coping saw, its all installed.

basically, what i did was mount the 400W amp in the dash behind where the radio used to be. (its in there DEEP and isnt coming out very easily) and then i mounted one of my old 4x6 speakers in the radio slot in front of the amp. then i made a black metal-mesh plate with speaker cloth behind it to fill the hole in the dash in front of the 4x6. so now its all clean and hidden and no longer screams "STEAL ME!"

the result: SWEET BABY JESUS. my jeep sounds like a freaking theater now. its ungodly. im so happy with everything. and all i have to do is plug in my phone.

no radio. no problem.
That's a pretty damn good idea. Where I live, we get crap for radio reception anyways because of the mountains, so I use my iphone every time I'm in the jeep. And I need to replace the dash speakers anyways...

installed a new slider for my rear window zipper. now it completely closes!

also tried to bed line my fender flairs (well one anyways) with duplicolor bed armor.... useless crap peeled off when I took the masking tape off. might just use some plastic paint next time. it did look good till I took the masking tape off and the bed liner came off with it.

I agree, although the sun is not as intense here in Ohio. I love my Spider web shade and feel it is the best $60 I have ever spent on the Jeep. Keeps the sun off my ever-growing bald spot.

I left my car out with the top on and the neighbors sprinklers came on. My engine malfunction light is now on and is giving me p0123 and p1596. I've read that these come on when the steering column gets wet. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it all dried out?

Installed 1" seat risers in my '06. Much better visibility right in front of the Jeep. Before I was looking out across the hood of the Jeep, now I'm looking down and get a better feel for obstacles (rocks/stumps) as I approach them.

installed by brand new Luk clutch kit and pilot bearing.

also, since its gonna be sitting in the garage for a few more days before i get the tranny back together and in it, ive been slowly getting the rest of the rust out of the engine compartment. and painting more things green lol. i did the evap canister mount and a radiator hose clamp today. ...i like green.

gotta do something about all the wires near the firewall from everything that ive wired through there. its becoming a mess. gonna try and find some big 1" coro-tubing to clean it up in

They are spider web shades. Just do a search on it. Stays on under the soft top, when you fold it down you have instant shade. Much easier than a header bikini, only down side is no rain protection. I love this thing after fyssing with bikinis for years.

Yes, this can happen. My Jeep had this issue several years ago. Most likely culprit is the clock spring, whuch us how they make all those electrical connections work in the steering column. I had a shop replace it, was not too expensive. I don't think it is a really difficult repair.
