Hey big sarge dont replace it let crowbar meet cat, its cheaper than replacing it with an aftermarket, if u wanna go that direction. Did that to mine and it seems like it runs a lil better

Yeah that is against federal laws and I would prefer to not do it. LOL

Currently at work at the moment so i'll post a pic later but i had an appointment to get an account at a tint place this morning (i'm a banker) so while talking with the manager i had my windshield tinted 35%...not a brow, full tint...did it for 40 bucks

turned out great and i love it!

I've got 15% sides to match the 15% soft top rear and back windows and now have the front in 35%...looks great against the red paint.

No unless you have a prescription from an eye doctor.

I gave mine one hell of a workout out today. Drove all the way to Mississippi and towed a 1,900#, 2000 18' Yamaha 1800 310 HP jet boat alllllll the way back. Driving through mobile and Pensacola was. Well, interesting. But we made it. My ass hurts like no other and I'm only 19!!!! These seats suck! Don't think I ever want to ride in a jeep for 6 hours or 450 miles ever again. Averaged 14.6 MPG on the way there and anywhere from 8-10 on the way back. Not to shabby for a 4" lift and 31's. lots of down shifting though.

Tongue weight was about 125 pounds. Rode really good and no sag. That was my biggest concern with the short wheel base.

Define legal lol

But no, as wonder twin said (below) its not legal to have tint on your front windshield unless you've got a perscription for an eye doctor.

I've had my front windows tinted 15% for the last two years (legal is 25 in colorado) without any issue and have always wanted to get the windshield done because i like the look...my eyes are also super sensitive with light so it definitely makes it nice without the glare or anything if i dont have my sunglasses.

Shouldnt be bad at night and am definitely looking forward to it in the winter without any of the snow glare...

I just towed 2 255HP seadoo's to the boat launch today (not far but enough to get the feel). I've towed single PWC's before and it doesn't even feel like they are there, but with a double trailer and 2 large PWC's, you definitely feel the weight of them.. probably around 2000 lbs +/-

almost lost the jeep in the water launching them too. I put it in 4low so I don't kill my clutch, and it jumped to neutral when I let the clutch out (well not jumped, I probably hit it or didn't shift all the way). It only rolled back a foot or so before I realized and hit the brakes, but still embarrassing as my co-worker was there laughing the whole time

This is what I did to my Jeep today. I got the River Raiders Hi-Jack hood mounts in today which look awesome by the way for a great price. But I go to unbolt my hood mount so I can install the Hi-Jack mounts and the dang stock bolts were stripper, there was maybe one thread left holding them in. And of course all the hardware stores around be were closed so I couldnt run out and just buy new nut and bolts.

But hopefully I will have the mounts and the Hi-jack on tomorrow!!!!

He just changed all the stock bulbs with LED bulbs. I did the same thing a couple of years ago with bright white.

man that would not last long in Michigan or at least my area. i know a few ppl that got pulled over and had to rip tint off their front side windows. I've always like the look of it tho.
