oh, i would agree with you as well. wasnt trying to knock the quality or the service that bestop offers. im just saying that thier frameless top is much harder to get on and off. its not something i would want to have to do everyday. i live in FL, and the way it rains there, i want a top that is easy on and off.

theres a reason theres more than one brand of tops. haha. to each his own.

Today I swapped out the factory Hella headlamps for some Wipac Crystals that were on the shelf. I was disappointed with the performance tonight and its time to dig the Hellas back out of the bin.

Nothing ventured nothing gained.

I have to agree. I also question how quickly the frameless top can be folded down and put back up. I have never messed with one. I am very happy with my sail cloth top and spider web shade -- nice combination. But that is also why they make different stuff, too.

Patrick, you have done a lot to your Jeep in a short time. I hope the pain will end up wigh a lot of gain.

You just have to keep looking.

I keep my phone or Craigs List auto parts/jeep all day. I just hit refresh every 40 mins or so. Luckily he posted just as I was about to leave for the day. He just got new 35's with alloy's that morning and had no where to store these.

Good call. If that were mine and I knew about it Murphy and his law would punch me in the gut when I was 100 miles from home.

I picked this new toy about 2 months ago, been doing a lot of study here on this forum. Up to this point I have been doing regular and preventive maintenance, changed all fluids, belts and hoses. Learned a lot about the vehicle, what a vehicle, WOW. The tires were worn out when I got it, so they are the first to go....I decided on the 33x12.5x15 Duratracs on the Black Rock 909's.

Hoping to go to 4.88 gears soon. I'll see how it keeps up on the highway after the install.

Spent the night pulling the carpet and vacuuming water out of the seats...

Got caught in a monsoon while at my Dads

What a pain it is pulling wet carpet

I found a dead frog under the mat

Does this top have a sun-rider (I think that's what it's called) option? (Where the top stays up but like the first quarter folds back like a sun roof)

Hahaha-mine hit 28000 yesterday...but don't call me a newb-just wanted one that hadn't been beat up...yet

So I started my first mod. I removed the water wings both front and rear. Ordered the end caps from the dealer. They will be there tomorrow. Can't wait!

Wired up my new Kicker 10" sub and amp and put it in the Jeep with the help of one of my best friends. A hot but good day. And oh what a difference this sub makes in the audio quality.
