Installed a die-hard platinum Battery, thanks the the forum community for the advice - starts great... Measuring to see if I can turn it sideways and stack another on top - I have always liked the idea of a dual battery set up

Did you take the passenger grab bar out or mask it off? If you took it off how hard was it to do, what prep is required? I like the look. I might just have to do it on mine. I dont like the mono color.

I sprayed neverwet on my seat covers for when I don't have time to put the top on before it rains.

What did i do to my jeep today?

I cleaned out the BROKEN GLASS from where a buddy's dad went to shut the back window, and didn't take my flag out. Whole back window, KABOOM! glass everywhere.

thin pvc pipe, drill holes through the top, 2 or 3 depending on how many holes the flag has, and connect with zip ties. then zip tie to your roll bar in back, with a screw or two towards the bottom against the ties so it won't move around. There are obviously MUCH better ways to do it, but that's how i did it just so i had Old Glory for the 4th this year.

Thanks.. They are aluminum and I used rustoleum flat black paint. All I did for prep is used light sand paper, hot water and soap. My buddy did the same prep and paint to his a year ago and it looks great still. GL

If you guys want a flag pole, get some PVC pipe big enough to slide into your tow hitch.

Drill a hole through it so you can slide the pin through it.

Connect an elbow fitting to it, get another piece of PVC and slap it in the elbow.

Zip ties.

Use your trailer hitch, remove the ball itself, mount the pole in the hole where the ball was..

No problem, I just got them in the mail yesterday (ordered Saturday morning, received on Monday) and I wish I would have ordered them sooner. Really comfortable while driving down the freeway.

Ha! Thanks! All kudos to the wife. My idea, but her execution. Hadn't thought about taking orders, but since she's off for the summer (teacher), she actually has plenty of time...Are all the TJ shift bezels the same? I have a 97...Even if they're not, I could do one based on the measurements...And whatever color you want...that's easy.

Anyway, shoot me a PM...we'll hook it up after the 4th holiday! Thanks!

I used plasti-dip on my rims with very little prep and easy application.

HCARLGOLDEN,

I took it off. It was pretty straightforward, but just took a long time - about a million screws holding the dash together. I wanted to take it off to get a better coating, plus easier to clean everything.

There's a fantastic writeup on the whole process here:
http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/tire...it-152938.html

I followed this to the letter and everything turned out great!

Absolutely...I'm thinking $20 bucks? But I don't wanna highjack this thread...so I'd be happy to discuss stuff, just shoot me a PM and we'll talk details. If there's enough interest, then maybe I can open up a thread over in the "Commercial Product" section.

Thanks guys - for the compliments and the interest!

Hello all, today I changed the coolant in my new jeep.

Actually, that's not why I'm posting in this thread. I'm here because I'm a confused XJ to TJ convert and I'm used to the Cherokee forum. Here, I'm completely out of the element and can't seem to navigate the forums correctly. I've read most of the stickies for newbs but I can't seem to find a place where I can ask questions about lifts, tires, axles, etc. Is there an "ask the question thread" of sorts? Maybe a lift and tire question thread anywhere? Hopefully one of y'all can point me in the right direction! Thanks!
