Currie CURRECTLYNC HD Steering

Installed the Currectlync yesterday. BEEFY its whats for dinner.

Edit: In the instructions is said, literally in caps "DO NOT install with drop pitman arm"

We did it anyway as a member in the my Jeep club switched to the drop arm as he was getting bad bump steer. Anyone know why I should NOT install with a drop pitman arm?

Looks to me like it could possibly smash your drag link if the front end takes a dip or the axle flexes

Take a look at your drag link during full compression to ensure everything clears the front diff. If its hitting, you run the risk of snapping the end off your linkage.

First 4th of July with my Jeep and the rain isn't gonna let up anytime soon. No flag flying, enjoying our freedom with the top off today. Thank you to all of those who've served and allow me the freedom to drive a jeep when I want, where I want and how I want!

Replace my 5/16" wire winch line with 92 feet of 1/2" synthetic Dyneema rope. Hooked the new line up to a tree, applied the parking break for some resistance, and winched it on. Was not sure if the winch spool could hold all of the larger line but it had plenty of room. The synthetic line is a lot easier to handle.

Just the sub, or do you need the mini amp too?

If you just need the speaker, quadratic has direct replacement units. I think they're about $100.

Thanks. I'll look into it when I get home. I didn't even know there was a mini amp in there! I think the sub is just blown though. It still plays n thumps but sounds like its screwing a garbage disposal at bass points.

Yep, sounds like its blown. I actually cut mine out, put in a ten inch pancake sub. Great bass, but I wish I hadn't done it. Guess I will be replacing the center console, then the smaller sub. Ah well, live and learn!
