Why did you use plastidip instead of paint? Plastidip will peel off the first time you use it.

Good Question... Well PlastiDip was all I had on hand and thought Id try it out to see how it holds up. I do mods on my Jeep everyday so I might end up peeling it off one day and just paint it later, we will see.

Im in North Carolina and it has been raining a LOT the past couple of weeks so needed to get something on the jackt to keep the rust stains off the Jeep.

It really is. I have been itching to go naked with the windshield down for the first time and I can't because of this weather lol. I just hope it gets better soon. Wouldn't mind a bit of a drought right now and for the next few months.

Well I had planed on painting more dash parts today and I did get one more painted. Instead I ended up installing a set of driving lights on my brothers Toyota Echo. Since my brothers girl-friend took the Echo through a cow field we ended up doing more than I had expected. Took the entire front bumper off to realign some of the frame parts. Then we could start on the lights. I never use the cheep wiring harness that come with them. They always seam to end up failing at some point. I make my own. I run a set of 14ga or higher wire and crimp, solder, heat shrink every junction. It may be over kill but I have never had one of my light sets fail.

I washed it with the top down. Was able to keep the interior dry, only had a few spots of water on my seat from overspray. Jeeps do look good muddy, but I had bugs all over the grill and windshield. Looked pretty bad on a white jeep.

Looks great! What did you use to restore them, and how long did it take? I've done mine with micro scratch remover before. It was very labor intensive, and only lasted about a month before they started to discolor again.

Luckily she'll be doing the driving in the patriot. I'm keeping the TJ. Just regret spending on the tires the day before having to put cash down on the new vehicle.

Added a couple USB ports. One in the ashtray spot, and one for the rear passengers.

I went to to the local ACE and i bought some mailbox letters. They didnt have peel off ones so i had to cut them out (it took forever) . Started with the F cause thats the middle letter and went from there. i think it came out pretty good. Who knows maybe we will have some new members.

Cut part of my bumper. The opening was too small and the cable kept getting stuck on the edges, cut it out, and put the fair lead back on.

Then I also took the new to me 3 inch springs I got (only did the fronts today, haven't started on the rears) and got them looking all fresh
