Here is a write-up on my DIY rock lights. Sorry, but it is on JeepForum. I spend most of my time over there and it took too long to writeup to do it a second time.

got the switches from this site - they are in FL, and are really nice and have good prices. you can get em in almost any color too!

and the shift knob was from a company called Sickspeed. i got mine on ebay, but they also have their own website i think... maybe sickspeed.com ? idk. google that. haha

It's cracked again in the same spot the last one did, the front tube half way between cyl 1 and 2...

I noticed my engine mount had a gap between the "cage" and the rubber.
Anyone know if this is normal?

far as i could tell you, thats normal. i spent a lot of time fooling around with motor mounts when i swapped engines this summer. mine were like that.

had to go dig out my buddy yesterday, and in my rush to head out I forgot my windows to the soft top. needless to say my backseat is pretty dirty. any suggestions on how to remove the dirt from the seat? I was suggested fabric cleaner, but I had to ask here because I know a few of you have some experience with that.

Start with a powerful shop vac and get as much out as possible. Then use a carpet cleaner, one of those that uses hot water and a cleaning solution. Then go back over it once again with clear water to get more of the solution out. You will be surprised how much dirt comes out during this second treatment.

Installed a Bestop Supertop NX, replaced the purge valve, and vacuumed mulch out the back. Now I'm shopping for bugout gear and a heavy duty tool box for the back. Rhino got me motivated.

Well, probably two or three months ago I locked it. Couldn't get it opened, tried some wd-40 in it, nothing worked.

I tried it today, and on the second try, it just opened. Make sure the key is all the way in. I'm not sure why it opened for me now as opposed to when I first tried, so I'm not much help to you. Sorry!

Well a couple hours later....
New motor mounts and manifold. We'll see how long this one lasts, thank goodness for lifetime warranty parts!

last night was ~1/4 of a 3" zone lift + 1 jks disco + 1 side of a jks adj track bar.... it's getting there and so is my collection of knuckle bruises and finger cuts.

busted the grease seal on the drag link -> pitman with a pickle fork, so will get a replacement, a grease gun and a ratchet strap for the track bar on the way home from work (autozone and harbor freight i guess).

that pretty much tells you all what I'll be doing tonight. really hope I can nail this out before the weekend ---

it's my first foray into wrenching, or at least my first in a hellalong time.
