How are you gonna run the wires? Thinking of getting some to put there myself.

I have lights up there too on mine. I folded down the windshield and run the wire under the windshield then across the front under the defroster dash trim then unfolded the windshield down behind the dash to a switch and so on.

Went to a junk yard and found a 89 YJ that was junked. took the bumpers for $100 total. Went right on with a lil "motivation".
The front bumper is stock for a YJ outside of the light bar, but still beefier then a stock TJ. The rear bumper is nearly 50lbs with a 3'' receiver on it, i know over kill.
Going to grind the rust off and bedline them in the near future. Thinking bout welding on the rear bumper to the cross member for added support, but here are some pics.

Yeah did the same thing kinda. Folded the windshield down pulled out the cowl and stuffed the power supply from the relay under the air vent on the outside of the vehicle. Didnt want to smash any wires. Then grounded the lights to the windshield bolts. But i ran the wires for the switch through one of those rubber plugs that is right behind the gas pedal. Cut a small hole then jammed the wires through.

Just got to decide where to mount the switch now. Trying to plan long term so i dont have all future switches in 1 spot and not in a bunch of random places.

That's actually two ball joints. Hahahaha, but I was asking if that was indeed a cover over his ujoints.

I know how you feel about not driving it for a while especially when it's nice. I travel for work. Spent a whole month without it. Sucked. I did have a jku for a rental for a week which was nice.

Yes it does, but I also enjoy driving my truck that gets 21mpg since I drive
120 miles a day and the jeep only gets 12mpg.

I did drive it to work today and got it inspected.

It does suck, but I save money by not driving it that much.

you seriously only get 12 mpg? i have a 4.0 with 33's and 4.10 gears. i get 16 mpg average, and im expecting 2 or 3 more after i tune up the engine. either you have something wrong, or its time to regear. what is your setup?
