Replaced U Joint on the rear diff. Vibration and clunking way down. No more drive line vibration past 60 mph.

Dropping gas tank to see if the vent tube mod will work. Sick of filling gas to 15-16 gals and still have 2-3 gals of air.

The vent tube sticks down in the tank a couple inches ... you cut it so it sticks in the tank less so more gas will fit

Here's a link to some details

Whats wrong with it? Depending on what year your jeep is, you can bypass it by simply putting a fuse in the slot on the fuse panel behind the glove box that says "Auto". This defeats the clutch safety switch, making it possible to start the jeep in gear.

Just cut out the switch and hot wire 'em together. I had mine die on a trail and I haven't "fixed" it yet. Plus, you now have a kill switch. Just reach up under the dash and pull the wires apart if you don't want the car to start.

Changed the plugs back to autolite after 8k with the champions the gas mileage kept going down and down. They looked fine and the gap was still at 35 thousandths so we'll see how these new ones do

New thermostat. Old one was stuck open and threw an error code about low engine temp.

Scratch that off my to-do list!

Aw man, I really like that! I'm a fan of roof racks anyway, but that looks killer and the J E E P on the lights is a nice touch. Any chance of throwing up some more pics?
