Installed new bestop seat covers, removed backseat (couldn't afford cover for that), and swapped in Smittybuilt pocket style fender flares! Now I just need to do some painting and that awful tan interior will be gone forever!

Tried to take the skid plate off of my dads jeep to inspect the known rust problem. The PO replaced the front four bolts with some other bolt type with a smaller head. Turns out all four of those, are spinning. Wonderful.

There was some type of wire coming out of the hole in the frame before the skid plate, when I turned the front bolt, that wire wen inside the frame. This was on both sides. Got me as to what that did.

I hate when people don't fix things correctly.

Been working on an overhead console for the past 2-3 days. Made from 3/4" pine and bedlined for water resistance. I have the basic console made, I have to wait until I get the money to order materials to finish it. I'm going to make a Cordura cover with MOLLE webbing so I can attach stuff to it. Toward the front, near the rear view mirror, I'm going to mount a CB when I get one.

New Rifle Case

The wife had originally purchased this rifle case to mount on our UTV, But unfortunately it didn't quite fit right and therefore had just been collecting dust and spiderwebs in the shed. Today I got it out and mounted it from the roll cage on my 06 wrangler tj. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics but it actually looks pretty good. It blends in with all the other Mossy Oak camo as the rest of the interior and gives seven outer pockets in addition to the rifle sleeve. Good for storing extra magazines and lots of other stuff too. Couple of pics

Yup. Wasn't sure if I was good with all black, plus EVERYBODY is doing that. Gunmetal seemed like a great middle ground between chrome & black.

Tire rotation, and gas lol

The check engine light did reset on its own after some miles, was a 0456(small leak in evap) I'm guessing from the time I forgot to cap my gas tank when I filled up a while ago.

Bedlined my grille and painted my bezels gloss black. I have two minor corrections to do on the grille. I will wait the 72 hours for it to cure and then will sand the two spots. Then I'll touch it up with two more coats. There are three on now.

The bezels, however, ended up speckled and, therefore, not glossy. Sort of pissed about that...

I will strip them and do them again after payday.

But overall, for my first attempt with bedliner, I am really pleased with the look and the knowledge that my grille can now give the middle finger to rocks as they fly up.

I got them from a forum member on here can't remember his screen name (the judge) I think. He told me they came out of his Jeep. I assumed that they came from a TJ with the 7 speaker option.
