Made a lid to secure my truck area. Fairly pleased with the results, locking hinge to hold it up and a clasp to lock it. Wouldn't store my gun or bars of gold back there, but I can trust my in-valuables there.

I also started my knock off of a clover patch. Some fleece from wally world, and my Mom is making the bag for me (she been seamstress for 30 years, I think she'd do a better job than me!) I post some pics of that setup when it's done.

Today, I installed my RC Adj. Trackbar. Had to drill through the frame and install a bracket but I got er' done.....didn't even take that long! I used some nice cobalt drill bits and used plenty of drill oil to get through the frame..drilling slow speed...worked like a charm.

My alignment is totally JACKED though....i'll have to work on that.

After that, I installed my new RC steering stabilizer.

I actually didn't care about the lowers being adjustable...I would rather save money on the lowers, get adjustable uppers, and then something else. The fixed lowers will work great.

As for the lines, those are purchased

Thanks for the tips from both of you, though!

Replacing a piston? I helped buddy replace a piston after we tore apart 2 jeep Cherokees at the pick n pull to find a decent piston with cross threads. Saved a lot of money.

added under armor, gas tank skid, steering box skid, oil pan, trans and new belly pan, replaced all front control arms with adjustable ones, doing the rear end this weekend along with new springs, going from old un-known 2" lift, to a 4" lift with tummy tuck, sye and new driveshafts, rear bumper/tire carrier.

Changing the head gasket and manifold gasket. He was overheating and sucking water in somewhere. So we decided since it all had to come off, just do a gasket kit, and clean the valves while we are there. His YJ is going to run like a top when we're done

Haha lol no problem I got upper and lower adj with the RC x-series 4" lift I bought The only tip I can think of right now is the SYE when you put it back together and your putting the cover that goes on the rear spline shaft just hit it with a rubber mallet I thought I kept getting hung up on somethin but it just needed a bit of love to fit snug

So upon further inspection, the rust is coming through the bottom of the fender above the tire. BLEH. I didn't get half the rust.

I did get the flare painted. Looks awesome. Hope I have a fender to attach it to when I am done. Why o why couldn't I just leave it alone!!?

Top driver side fender

Bottom side same location

New winch installed

Well I posted earlier that my dear wife bought me & JJ a new winch for my birthday. I told everyone I would share pics when finished installing. I know it is a Champion brand but that is what my local TSC store carries. I also still get a 15% employee discount(even though I am retired now), plus by using our farm card we didn't have to pay taxes. Still not finished as I want to build some kind of brush guard now that I have a good foundation, and tons of assorted square tubing. Mostly 1" and 3/4" with some half inch as well.
