Not today but last weekend.... Went down to my local trails on the way home from work, cruised around abit and found a goy stuck in the creek in his Ford Raptor, Big ole Jacked up four door truck.... He didn't know what to do, had his buddy go get a chain n his work truck which he couldn't get down there.
I told him to throw his chain in the jeep n we'll go get him...He rode in my passenger seat the whole time. After I hitched upn ready he said "this is gonna be tuff". Me "nah", Idled him right outa the whole n out the creek bed n said "I guess I might as well get you up by the road..."
The last part out is about a 40-50' climb up a fairly steep 4 wheel low kinda hill, rocks, ruts... On the way there passenger says "I'm pretty impressed with this thing...." At the hill he says "Surely you don't think you can pull him up that?"
"Ha, watch this"..... Barely off of idle drug him all the way up that hill like nothin. As I top the hill see another jeep comin down there and get a big hell yeah thumbs up!!!
A damn good day for me and the jeep!!!

Purchased the worlds ugliest camper to drag behind my TJ.

This is my new project ultralight camper on a budget. Camper and trailer $150.00 total cost. A few more cans of rustoleum camo paint = priceless.
Already have a portable generator and a brand new 100 volt air conditioner.
Most of the camping gear is already purchased but can give a list if anyone interested in a similar project.

I tapped into the cigarette lighter from behind with a new holder and USB adapter. Then, I ran the wires from behind, through my gooseneck, so that there are no sloppy hanging wires over my shifter and console.(Not in this order, because I did the wiring while the Bracketron dried). It doesn't move at all, and it is very sturdy. I can touch the buttons with one hand and it won't move. The cell phone is, off to the side, a little over one foot from my face, and it doesn't obstruct my window or vents, and my cigarette lighter is free to use.

i like this

you say it dosnt move tho.. can u bend it out the way or easly take it on and off?

it would be nice to have at times but i can see how it would get in way also

I've had LEDs for years. I also rewired the entire back end of the Jeep from driver seat back (due to corrosion) at the same time though. They can be wired in using Stu's write up with no issues.

You have to bend it with two hands(no kidding, it won't move). The gooseneck is hard aluminum. It totally doesn't get in the way though, unless you are trying to make love on the front seats. lol.

You can't take it off unless you remove the front plate again. It is so far away from your console, radio and AC panel, that you don't have to move it once you get the position that you like. But, the phone removes easily, and the wires are right there, so there is no searching or plugging back into your cigarette lighter. And, it doesn't move, so it is right where you last left it. It's like putting your seat belt back on.

You can try it, by taping a piece of 18 inch string to the back of your cell phone, and run the string to the install point in the picture. Position your cell phone where you would like it to be. It is so far from the vents and the mirror, and the console that it would never get in the way. You can even reach around it and slap your girlfriend or wife. But, I wouldn't recommend that.
