It takes a long time to fade the paint tho, the color makes a difference too. I had one on my Jeep when I got it and not sure how long it was on from PO but I had it on for 4 yrs and my paint isn't faded.
I would take it off every time you wash it so you can get any dirt that might be under it out

Yeah mine was on from the po also and I would take it off to wash under it also. Then one day when I waxed it, I decided to not put it back on. My buddy had a mustang fox body with one on it and he had it on there forever and when he finally took it off his front end was wasted. It was white also.

Yea I put sahara flares on so my front grill cover won't fit anymore and I don't like just the hood piece so I don't use it now. Yea but my aunt had a red stang that had one and the paint under the bra was perfect and the rest of the car was almost pink looking

Ordered TJ's Christmas presents last night. The DP short corners and back plate, headlight guards, gas bezel, and LED lights. Also received a red Maglite to go with my red/black/silver look so I used some cut to length velcro and now it's rollbar safe

Today I finished cutting the all-thread to fit my Hi-Lift mounts so it will fit between my roll bars. Good enough for now, but when spring gets here and the hard top comes back off, I need to tighten the clamps up.

Took the rear bumper, dented tailgate, and frozen hinges off.
Got a pair of tan/green seats with pockets on the back, and apparently with seat warmers.

If you mean falls off during a crash and gives me massive brain damage, I had thought of that. Still not sure where I will permanently mount it, but this was one option. It fits on the uprights by the tailgate, but I was looking at other options. I will decide when it gets warm. I do like coloring books though

lol wise guy, its a neat idea, but man if that thing were to ever fall. I personally like the hood mounts, not too expensive, and i can see my jack at all times. and its not on the bumper collect road damage or salt or muck or getting bang up on the trails. I like the hood or tire carrier spots the most, They also look pretty sweet on roof racks. Idk, just some food for thought

Did a couple of things for the TJ today (2006 LJ). Signed up for this forum (first post...woohoo!) and installed some LED tail lights. The IPFs and H4s for the front should be here Wednesday or Thursday. Then you will be able to see me coming and going! Next week maybe I'll tackle the OME lift.
