The front coils are 6" . I need to cut them down yet to match the back. With the 3 link it will feel every bit of the wheel well with 36"s

came the closest ive ever been to crashing it and wrecking myself and others like crazy. im a little jumpy now...

i was driving to school this morning, and traffic just suddenly came to a dead stop because there was a lane closed. i wasnt goofing around, or fiddling with my phone and the radio wasnt blasting. i just had a brief moment of not paying attention i guess.

the little red ford focus in front of me was stopped dead. i was still going like 55. so as soon as i realized what was about to happen, i threw in the clutch and locked up the brakes. the jeep skidded for what seemed like miles, and luckily, there was a left turn lane next to the car in front of me. and even luckier still, there was no one in this lane. so i came to a stop sitting right next to these 2 terrified girls in thier focus that i nearly obliderated. never even touched em.

im glad my brakes work. i gave them an OK sign, and then got in line behind em and drove the rest of the way to school. damn.

Glad to see that you avoided the wreck. I think most people have had those moments once or twice in their life.

That's why I had to go a little higher with long arm, because I don't have it hi-lined.

Did my initial fitment of a JK head unit. I get the wiring harness tomorrow and will wire it up and see if I can get it functioning properly. Fingers crossed. If it works then I will cut the bezel and complete the install.

I'm partial to these. I have them on my TJ.

Multi-Mile - SUV-LT

The YJ I had bought new in 1996, I went through so many tires:
Goodyear Wranglers 30k (no tread left)
Firestone Firehawks A/T 30K (no tread left)
BFG A/T 30K (no tread left)
Multi-Mile Wild Country RVT 40K+ (I sold it with these tires on and they still had plenty of tread left)

Can't say on Jeeps, but I know they sucked on my Dodge 2500 for traction. Wet roads I would spun the tires if I let out the clutch to much without even touching the throttle.
