TSRESHA, you may want to dig that plastic one out of the trash. Our state is going all digital tags and the are plastic, so wont wrap around like our metal ones do. Ive been hunting Craigslist to find a cheap plastic one for my TJ for when they swap out my metal plate.

I got a new set of Goodyear Wrangler 30X9.5X15 Silent Armor tires installed, replacing the 225x75x15s. They ride very quite and smooth, but I had to put a spacer on the spare to get the tailgate to close.

Or mount it in the spare tire. Few companies make brackets with lights for it.

It was pretty straight forward. The only major hang up was putting in the extra security screws that they include. Essentially I found that you install the whole thing, mark the two holes you intend to drill, uninstall the thing, and then do the actual drilling. No way I found to drill using the holes on the frame as pilot holes, per the included instructions. Or I just don't have a tiny drill like everyone else.

I also bought a couple more screws to put in. You have 8 screws that came with the Jeep, plus the two bolts that came with the glove box, and you're still left with 2 holes that, if you're me, you'd just as soon put screws into. So I did. Basic body screws from your local parts store will work.

On fitment I read elsewhere on the forums that it doesn't always latch right. I had that problem initially, too. I took a wrench and gently (and barely) pulled the post out and it works beautifully. I read that some cats removed the rubber stops to make it fit, but that sounded no bueno.

I've been eyeing that console for a while. Mine isn't too broken yet, though, so it's gonna wait.

Oh yeah. I actually think I have a touch more storage space. Everything I had in the old one seems to fit a little better in the new one. The space isn't much different, but the shape is slightly. I'm ridiculously happy with it.

Painted my light bar and handle not the hood. 2 pressing needs with colder weather coming...no air is coming out of my front defrost and the rear window on my Bestop soft top won't stay zipped. I think I'll replace my dash lights while I have my dash apart fixing the defrost problem.

I just installed my corner armor last weekend so I have the stock plate holder in my back seat if you need one.

Replaced front axle u-joint, loaded up trail gear, cleaned "love bugs" off my windshield and dropped the top for a trail ride tonight. Clear skies and 75° at night is what I've been waiting for all summer.

Replaced both Bank 1 sensor 2 and Bank 2 sensor 2 (O2's) because I was throwing the code P0038. Been thru several start cycles, looks like that did the trick.
