Thanks. After wheeling with and without the rubicon package I don't think I will ever go back. A modest lift, wheels, and tires and you can get into some good stuff!

I would have killed for a rubi, but I am happy with my baby sport, there just wasn't the perfect rubicon out there when I was looking.

No doubt. I searched for 9 months before I found the exact one I wanted. I'm thinking I may buy another jeep for DD duty, and keep the Rubi as a weekend warrior.

That looks good. I would also spray the ring that actually holds the headlights in place as well.

Hey here's a question thinking about getting a 2 inch lift for my tj, could I instead of buying one with new coil springs just snap some off a rubicon and look bad ass?

The rubicon springs are the same height as the se springs, they just have a stiffer spring rate. So if your jeep weighs approximately the same as the rubicon they come off you won't see any height difference, just a stiffer ride. The only other way (other than a weight difference) you would net a lift from the swap is if your stock springs are sagging and the rubicon springs aren't. If you are looking for a really cheap 2" lift just go with a budget boost.

I'm looking for a remote control for my XRC winch. I've rebuilt mine a few times, and it's getting a bit rough around the edges. If you've got one laying around, working or not, pm me and let's talk please.

Thanks,
Dan
