Prepped the motor that's going in. Changed all gaskets (oil pan, valve cover, intake/exhaust) bolted up the clutch, changed the throw out bearing, swapped over the accessories and cleaned it up.

Dropping in my new to me motor and some front axle seals tomorrow.

Wheeling it on Sat for the first time in like a year.

Thank you for the compliment and help.
Yea you don't want to put too big of a tire on the carrier because it simply wasn't designed for big tires. But If you do, make sure you extend the rubber snubber / bump stops so they firmly press against the bigger sized tire. This helps dampen vibrations.

I have a 33x12.5" Duratracs on a steel wheel on my tailgate carrier with the stops extended, and the tail light adjusted to fit. So far so good!

Yeah man, you confused the shit out of me, lol.

I got the motor in today and there was plenty of lil hiccups which made it take pretty much all day. My prepping is never as good as I think it is.

The good news is the "new" motor is in and purring like a kitten! The bad news is apparently my wife is dragging me to a b day party tomorrow that I didnt know about. Looks like I wont be wheeling.

Dropped her off at the Paint and Body shop. She is getting new front fenders, flares, and a few other goodies. Going back to the original PQP color code. I have noticed looking at some pics that most PQPs (teal) have white decals. Was white factory color for decals on PQP ? Just curious, I got all black because I think it will stand out better anyway.

Can't say on the std being white, but my vote is no stickers on paint. If you do, black or gray would seem to be better in contrast. Carbon fiber???
