RC 6" long arm, no body lift.

I like the added room from the fenders, I like the way they look. The only down side is they didnt hold up very long to the sugar sand and mud I put em through. Rust spots starting after 3 years and I clean the Jeep right away usually.

yea I hear that's the only draw back to them I had decided to just go ahead and be pro active and just sand them down and re paint them to a gloss black to match my jeep I know the "powder coat" job they do is trash

Yeah I shouldve down that, now there is a spot with some rot. Not sure what Ill do about it yet.

One use that I never thought about before hand is that they are extremely handy to stand on. lol.

My Jeep being up 6" on 35s is though for me to work on being Im 5'8". Especially because my bumper doesnt allow me to be so close. I just hop up on there.

Today, I tweaked the new soft-top that I installed yesterday. Very nice, I'm pleased with the product. I got a Smittybilt Diamond Black top with rear tinted windows and door skins. I was amazed at the ease of installing the top, no muss, no fuss.

The door skins on the other hand...
Speaking of hands, mine are mighty sore from fighting with that Sum-beach. I ended up calling my brother-in-law to fight with the second one. With lots of tugging, sweating and swearing, it took up about 25 minutes.

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the product. And I guess I should also mention that they told me it would be here in 5 to 7 days and it was here in 2.

Got a free file cabinet from work, but only if I took it today. Got a few odd stares...
Unloaded it, then finally removed rear seat belts and back seat brackets. Not much but something

Yes, I think that might have something to do with the squirrelly-ness...

I did the exact opposite today lol.

Had a tough funeral to go to today and after I thought some alone time with my TJ and some mud/rocks/dirt would do me some good. Almost as therapeutic as my motorcycle.

Not too muddy today, I didnt go far, went in across the street from Atco Raceway. Im going to RC on the 30th and cant afford to break anything, lol.

Some of the holes I normally go through over there have been TORN up by something that looked to be on tractor tires. Lots of quads out there today so young kids following us around to watch. My buddy got buried pretty good in his Land Rover and I got lost a shoe getting to him lol.

I always say Ill put my boots on when I get there and NEVER do.

yeah, I have noticed that. the m37 had 38" tsl's and he also had a 5 ton (my mouth hit the floor when he said that). if I'm planning on going to the woods, everyone riding with has to have boots, no exceptions.

Finally had the re-gear completed which took me from 3:07s to 4:88s and a Trac-loc in the rear to compliment my front aussie locker. What an awesome difference it makes. Felt like I was in granny gear when I picked it up... can't wait to throw her in low lock and see what a true granny gear feels like crawling up some rocks.

Spent the past ten days with my parents. Dad had a second aneurysm. We're working with the VA again for stint surgery. So tomorrow, around 6am, I will jump in the jeep and drive home. Roughly 300 miles. It's good to see my family, but I miss my wife damnit!!! I had the AC fixed while I was here. Sure hope it lasts this time. This will be her 5th compressor in less than a year!
