I don't really like the truck lites pattern myself. Not to mention they're way over priced. A good h4 bulb throws just as much light as the truck lites. I only use my rig 4 wheeling anyway so lighting isnt all that important 2 me anyway. That much coin could b used 4 something better imo. if i was mall crawlin id prob consider the truck lites. and 350 is waaaaaay more then kcs headlights. That's more like 250 more. Huge jump for a little extra light

slight exaggeration. You can find them for close to $300. I haven't gotten them because they so expensive, and there's other things I want to buy. However, the more I drive at night, the more I realize how shitty my headlights are. I think I'm gonna get myself a pair sometime soon :x

Took the milk jugs off of the bumpers, then took off the spare tire and tire carrier. I like the look much better now. Detailed the interior and called it a day!

Just get the kcs. Most of the lighting upgrade comes in advanced reflectors anyway and with a quality h4 bulb u will have just as much light at a much better price tag. Best advantage I see with led is service life but it still doesnt warrant a 300+ dollar price tag imo.

do you personally have them? I've heard they aren't even significantly better than stock. I'd rather spend the money to vastly improve something than buy something that is only a little better and save some money

I have trucklites. They're literally easily 50x brighter than stock. Throws the light further, wider, and if they're adjusted right they don't piss people off either. Don't take as much electricity, I have a goal to be completely LED here in a few months. And they look extremely cool in the daytime. The brights on back country roads have saved my fenders and a few deer. In pitch black I can see close to a half mile. They're amazing.

The big positive of LED over HID in a jeep is that the aggressive bouncing would kill a ballast quickly, and excessive water splashing on them would do the same, plus they get really hot and suck a lot of power.

i have the trucklites. i started w stock lights, immediately went to silverstars and that wasnt enough for me. (I am about to be 57 so sight isnt as good as it used to be) then looked into H4s w fatboy bulbs w improved wiring harness to cover the additional amp load. but for a bit more coulg have led that will last for life. take the changing of bulbs cost into the equation, and for me it was a no brainer the light is bright, very white and its plug and play.

Hard to say... maybe thats the rock that cracked the windshield. But the wife and I are entertaining the idea of a gecko green jku for her... kryptonite and Super Jeep. I might just put "up up and away" or "its a bird its a plane" on there somewhere...

Started to remove the oil pan had to quit for dinner with the family. Have a few more to remove. Hoping I don't have remove the exhaust. Also noticed the frame has a bit more rust then I thought. Once I get the oil pan issue taken care of I will clean her up and post a pic.

I bought my new (to me) 2006 Wrangler Rubicon.

My first Wrangler was 2006 Wrangler Sport. I had it less than a year and it was stolen in January of 2013. The last I heard from the police, they called to ask if I had found it. Finally, after a year of fighting with my insurance, searching, and finally making a 1000 mile round trip to Atlanta I finally have my Rubicon.

Once it warms up I can start customizing. I will probably start with Smittybilt XRC bumpers and rock slider/steps.
