i went to the store and got the right things to fix my sway bar disconnects and a light to make my 3rd brake light in the center cap.
i did the disconnects real quik
i started to take the spare off and last time i put it on i tightened it to tight so i could not get one lug nut off so ill have to do it tmrw
and while i was at it i looked at my diff and found out my rig has 3.07 gears

I'm in the process of doing the third brake in the center cap right now. I'm waiting for my drill to charge at the moment. Haha. But it's easy to do so if you have any questions feel free to ask

I'm thinking about getting that exact head unit. How was the install? How does the iPod and USB connectivity work?

One word of advice. The directions are lacking so be prepared. Also, you are going to need a mounting plate. I chose the flat one.

Not a bad install. I bought everything at Walmart (That all we have here in Del Rio open on a Sunday.) If you get the mounting kit from Walmart it was easy. There are a lot part that come with it, but for the jeep it was just the main faceplate part with some snaps that needed to come off. It took me a bought an hour to install. That was with splicing the wiring. Mine also came with the Bluetooth connection which was really easy to install. It was mostly already connected. Just had to connect the mic. It looks great and sounds way better than the stock.

It came with a Bluetooth connection too? Hoe much was it total? I'm looking at Crutchfield and its $150 but don't see anything about Bluetooth mentioned. If love to be able to stream music from my phone.

The one that didn't come with Bluetooth was $125 and mine was $153 at Walmart. Total with harness and mounting kit $212 after tax.

just fyi, jvc's arent ideal for a jeep. They work for some people, but they tend to break a lot and with all the bumps in a jeep wont help. I would stick with Pioneer, Alpine and Kenwood. You can get a nice Kenwood 248u for like $70 on amazon. And there isnt going to be a big difference between a $70 and $150 stereo sound wise. The Watts it can put out continually(RMS i think) is usually around 19-22 and only get above that in a stereo over $250 generally. I know and have a lot of experience with speakers and stereos and those are just my opinions.
