Yeah. that seems to be the consensus...everyone is telling me they like the tan top. Maybe I'll keep it and spend money on the Ford 8.8 ($200) cause I know I'm gonna need other stuff to go with it.
For now I'll just let the top keep me dry!

I was hoping to paint it black cause I'm not a fan of the tan but I might just wait and see if I can get one off CL.
I picked the whole top and frame for $125 of CL then another $35 to have it re-stitched.

Why did you have it re-stitched? Just to reinforce every thing? & where would one go to get that done?

They are pretty bright, definitely brighter than the stock lights. I am glad I went with green after seeing them installed.

Last Weekend I finsihed my DPG Offroad Ultimate Lift Kit install. I also swaped out the diff covers, tanny mount, and changed the T-case fluid. Pics are in my build thread.

I just called superbright to get a replacement led bulb one quit working on me after 1 day. They were very easy to deal with.

All the stitching was coming undone and the little plastic pieces that go into the channel were falling out. I found an upholstery shop about 2 minutes from my house and they recommended a guy that would do it.
He restitched the whole top and both side windows for $35 and I also had a 10,000 pound tow strap that snapped and he reinforced that as well for $5.

Installed my new factory style rocker for the KC fog lights. I didn't like the switch that came with the light kit. This switch doesn't look out of place. The old switch was mounted on those two little nubs down below for like 5 yrs.

Replaced stock muffler w/Flowmaster Series 40. Stock muffler was leaking around the crimped seams and puddle of water would pool underneath every time I shut it off. Loving the sound of this on my DD...especially down shifting into 3rd :-)

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!

Tonight I flushed out the heater core, it was only blowing out luke warm air. Now it is nice and hot, there was all kinds of crap in it, some looked like small rocks. In the two weeks since I bought it I have changed the spark plugs, changed the oil-royal purple-greased all the fittings. Sucked out a pint and a half of tranny fluid, the po had it overfilled and it leaked when I was parked downhill in my driveway. New dash speakers and factory stereo that doesn't eat cd's. The first few days I would just sit in the garage and think about the mods to come.......lift kit, bumpers, wench, lights......does it ever end?

Had some previous body damage there that's all. Had painted the first time when I had the Diamond plate rocker panels on. When I removed them I had to seal the rivet holes I had drilled earlier for the diamond plate so I just decided to do a bit of touch up on this side. Didn't have
any need to repaint the Passenger side and not required at all for the installation.

I would, but I don't think videos of vehicle exhaust sound right IMO. I listened to so many on youtube and I did not like any of the sounds. I went w/my research and prior experience to make this choice.

I understand that, my wife's Convertible Mustang is extremely loud w/her Magnaflow exhaust system. She likes it but after a while driving down I95....annoying.

I loved it don't get me wrong. I loved being able to rev up next to a lil Chico Honda that sounds like someone's blowing there nose in a tin can. And have that deep vroom. But it got to the realization that I couldn't order drive through without turning my jeep off. Because it was too loud. Let alone trying to communicate on a trail while I was running. And the minuses outweighed the plus. So I switched. Kinda miss it. But the silence is nice

That would be a buzz kill...fortunately, mine does not seem to be as deep "vroom" as what your describing. Maybe its the hard top being in place. I will find out later this year I'm sure

Yes it was. I do not believe that the skid plate had ever been removed. Lot's of PB Blaster. After the plate removal it was not so bad...

Cleaned my battery terminals. I started her up this morning and moved it out if the driveway it ran fine, like an hour later I went out to go somewhere and it had a hard time starting (like a dead battery) and staying running. Then got up the road a little and the amp gauge pegged out at 19 don't know it might need a new alternator....

Removed rear bumper and checked for damage in the daylight, got rear ended last night while stopped at a light. No damage found. After that did an oil change, new spark plugs and air filter.
