Got a little further on replacing the head on my jeep. I have a bad back, so I can only work on it a little bit at a time. All I have to do now is round up a 12 point socket to remove the head bolts and I'll be ready to remove the head. Slowly, but surely lol.

I know bad backs. That's why what I did to my TJ today was let it sit in the Garage and let the Snow melt off from driving it yesterday. Also waiting for the delivery of my Undercover Fab Works Engine Skid Plate to get here.

Yeah, they probably will. Dammit! I didn't think about that, I've had the top off for a while.

Installed my JKS 1.25" body lift and brown dog motor mounts. Body lift was smooth sailing. Motor mounts... well lets just say there was a little more of involved. stubborn bolts! lots of pb blaster and the ol' steroid jerk. But got it done. Been on the list for a while. Next up: hi-lift jack mount.

Since I don't have the key to my center console lock I decide to put a on/off switch for the dome light.

And since the weather is nice I decided to go topless!!!

I thought for the longest time that my key didn't work either. Then the other day I realized that you have to insert key then lift slightly while turning. It was a real "ah I'm such an idiot" moment!

there's a certain way you have to push on the key to get it to turn.
i'll rewire it to the dash tomorrow!

was thinking about wiring that switch to the asd fuse instead of the dome light. what you guys think?

Pull the little tab under rather forward first. Then turn it. It's weird man. You'll figure it out.
