Trying to find an annoying rattle I discovered the reason my intermittent hesitation/bucking came back.... The crank position sensor wires were burnt and touching the exhaust manifold

I brainfarted and backed up in the driveway right into my wife's Highlander's bumper.
I had to work today and I'm so used to her being gone before me but doh! She's off on Saturdays.
I blame it on the cold medicine....um....yeah that's it....it couldn't have been my stupidity.
Her vehicle is fine but my Jeep now has a nice sized dent in driver's side rear corner just like the ones we've all seen in some Wranglers.
Go me!!!!!

Pulled the drain plug to let out the water from the drivers floor after the big rain. That's pretty much it until payday when I can get the new head.

Changed the crank position sensor and routed the wire so it can't touch the exhaust manifold again

My skid plate was straying to drop off the frame. So I met my buddy up at FULL TILT FAB. And started taking things apart. This is what we found!

It was yesterday, but I changed the oil in my transfer case. While I had the skit plate I found the beginnings of a rust problem. Ground it all down, no real damage, I got lucky. Repainted it, and now I have clean T-case oil

Flat Black, the blue can at Walmart for 96 cents, I also painted the latch for the tailgate but it still had some original paint on it so I used glossy black on that. I bought a spray paint can spray adapter that gives you a handle instead of your finger. They have them in the paint section, that really helps with smooth spraying.
