You'll notice if they fail from the change in handling.

I couldnt find short enough Clevis pins to make the quick discos back there, and it wasn't effecting the handling on road at all. When I find the right pins I'll probably put it back in.

Being that it was nearly 60 out this afternoon, on my way home from work I decided to take the doors off for my ride home from work.
no door with a hard top... kinda overly windy HA

I've done it on my Subaru's but I'm not worried about them hydraulicing in rivers.

It gets a little warm in the Jeep engine bay but the exhaust is on the opposite side to the intake for cool air and there's no turbo. I'd question the true gain for effort put in.

Fought with it for like 30-40 minutes trying to get one of the side windows off. The zipper is really jacked up, makes me consider spending some of my tax return money on a Trektop NX.

Definitely going to consider it now.

When that happens to mine I found spraying a little bit of lube on the zipper helps a lot. Really makes a big difference when putting the windows back on.

The first two pics I was crossing a good size crack in the ground, probably 36" deep or so. It was "teeter-tottering" on the RF and LR tires!
In the last pic I was climbing over some concrete pipes that were laid over the trail, there were probably 15-20 of them lined up! It's pretty gnarly!

Mobil 1 Synthetic and matching oil filter all done in the driveway. Now time to clean up the splatter from the horizontally mounted oil filter. Nice design...

Yeah that's the messiest part of the whole process. What I do is take a pop bottle and cut the top off and use it as a guide for the oil as I take the filter off. Makes it a little cleaner

I'm looking at this mod so the filter mounts horizontally. Looks a bit mroe permanent than a coke bottle. (What's this pop stuff you talk about? )

1 - Finally took off my "milk jugs" and put on some flat end caps. Man it looks a lot better!

2 - Added some Quadratec neoprene grab handles

3 - Added a Daystar dash top console.

4 - Bought some step bars (kids struggle getting in and out). Just gotta figure out how to get those frame bolts loosened!

Just ordered a 36 tooth speedo gear and got the TSB parts for the knocking little drummer boy sound under my feet for the shift linkage.

Now just hoping I'm not in the field that long on Saturday so I can get this stuff installed this weekend...

East coast gear supply tj swap 8.8. Only way to go as far as I'm concerned. 5 year warranty and completely remanned- easy to custom order and to deal with. I couldve built it.. But for the money, can't beat it.
