Messed up badly

Today I was pulling a buddy out of a snowy ditch.
I engaged the parking brake and set the transmission in neutral before I got out to set up the chain.

I got back in, put it in 4x4 low, put it in 1st gear and went. I totally forgot to take off the parking brake and now my parking break doesn't work, neither do my regular brakes.

What did I do? The jeep still moves but makes a terrible noise. Am I going to need a new diff? I am so sad that I did that to Diana Boss (that's my jeep).

Just replaced my clutch master cylinder, something popped in it tonight and it engaged and disengage at a different point in stroke than it had before. I had to push extremely hard to get the safety switch to allow me to start it. Anyway all is good now it starts fine now.

Took mine through several 3+ inches snow drifts/banks. Yep it was fun. And parking in deeper snow where another vehicle would get stuck

Not today, but a couple days ago, I installed my Smittybilt (yeah, I know, Shittybilt, but I like it!) SRC front bumper.

Today, I internally wired the KC Daylighters. I drilled a couple holes, top and bottom, and used some safety wire to fish the electrical wires through the holes. Took some time and patience, but I think it looks a lot cleaner than just running wire loom along the back of the whole tube.

The evening after finishing installing the bumper, I took it out for a "test drive", and ended up getting high-centered in a deep ditch. Sorry, no pics! I had to use my Hi-Lift to raise the front end to allow the rear end to get more traction. My dumbassedness resulted in some scratches on my 1 hour old bumper. It really sucks, but oh well, it was bound to happen. I love the look of the new bumper, but it's just SCREAMING for a winch now!! Just Emptying Every Pocket!!!

oredered a cat back exhaust from summit racing. cut mine off sat morning, my muffler was split allong the seem. Had to cut the bolts off at the flange since the nuts were so rusty i could get a 13mm socket on them because they started crumbling. was thinking about replacing the cat but for the price of a direct fit, ill wait. mayby when it gets warm out ill fit something up.

I'm loving it! Only thing is it looks like an empty cage without a winch in it, so I guess I gotta buy one!! I had planned on it anyway. The fogs are the factory 55w 6" fog lights that came with the Jeep. The wires were long enough to just swap the lights over to the new bumper.

So glad you drilled holes for your wires. Much cleaner look. Hate when people zip tie to the bars.
