I feel your pain on cutting the bolts on the flange. I was replacing my exhaust and had to stop down the entire project to drive and buy a saw to get 'em off. Lost time, bloody knuckles and bruised ego. They now sit on a shelf in my garage.....couldn't bring myself to throw them away....haha.

UPOL Raptor Liner....woohooo!!!

Finished the last coat of Raptor Liner (tintable), it is still curing since the temp dropped from 70s all week to freakin' 50s here in Tex...my luck. But, outside of my normal mess ups, it looks pretty good. Will put the seats back in after a couple days, except for the back seat....gone for good.

pulling the backseat out:

taping after scraping:

after spraying final coat:

before pulling the tape and hole plugs (golf tees & ear plugs)

Went Topless

I had the top off yesterday. 70 degrees out and beautiful. I have been waiting for this day since I got my jeep in December. Woo Hoo.

Gotta love winters in South Carolina!

That looks really smooth I like it.

Trying to paint my hinges black, as you can see there is a little rust on them. Is there a trick to getting these bolts loose?I bought a impact driver( the one you hit with a hammer) but no luck. thanks

Luck. Haha. It's actually the paint that seeped in back of the bolts as they were painted bonding them together. Just little back and firths with the Torx bit maybe a few hammer strikes on the Torx while it's in. Then maybe some penetrating lube and worst case use a torch to heat them

Tried removing the tailgate hinges and snapped the torx clean off.

I figured when the weather breaks, I'm painting them on the Jeep. Blue 3M and news paper is your friend.

Yeah, originally, I just had the wires in wire looms, and used electrical tape to attach them. Looked like ass! So I went one step further and ran the wires internally. I'm glad I did too! Thanks.

The Rubi is on order. Crush (that new orange color), two-tone interior, manual transmission, and the tow package (for a hitch receiver winch). No power windows, no heated seats, no nav package. All function.

At some point in the very near future I'm going to paint the wheels, grill, and headlight bezels black, too. I think that will look sharp against the orange.

Don't know if anybody has answered you yet but DON'T hit them or force them. Get a heat gun and put heat to each one for a minute or so and then they should just turn easily. This worked for me and my brother. I hope this works

Any brand preference or performance type things to look for when buying coil spacers?

I ask because the Rubicon Express set is like $35 for the pair of 1 3/4, whereas the Teraflex ones are like $25 a piece, so unless theres something I don't know I'm just going to go for the RE set.

Congrats! Welcome to the forum.

I've only had time to be with mine for 2 days in the two weeks that I've owned it. First day did some light wheeling and drove it out into the desert (my backyard basically) and second day did some painting. Looks good if you don't get too close to it.

Sounds like the parking brake cable is stuck/frozen. Jack it up and see if you can free up the cable if that's your problem. You'll get a better response if you move this over to TJ tech...

Looks good. I was the one who posted it. How did you end up securing it. Mine are just bent into place. The only thing that make them move is a pressure washer.

Fab'd and installed a Rear Bumper with a swing-away

This l0ast weekend my bro and I Fab'd and installed a Rear Bumper with a swing-away. Turned out great in my opinion, and if I was going to change anything I would have got a bearing kit for the arm. It still swings just fine though.
