Today I buttoned up my clutch swap and oil pan gasket replacement and changed the trans and transfer case fluids. I had a horrible rattle on clutch engagement that turned out to be loose springs in the disc, and the pilot bearing was completely shot. Last bit of maintenance should be the valve cover gasket but I'm not sure I have the energy at this point, the rest of the job wore me out.

Today I found out something special about the "3 inch lift" that was on my current Tj when I purchased it. Knew it was a bds, was told its 3". Finally measured and the fronts came out to 16.5 total. 4.5" lift. I knew something was fishy with that.

Nice to know. I now feel dumb and lucky at the same time.

Help!!!!! I replaced my clutch kit, pilot bearing, throw out bearing, and flywheel. I put the tranny back on and installed the shifter but it still feels a little loose, even when engaged. My problem is it doesnt go into gear. The pedal (clutch) feels like its engaging and there is a slight sound difference you would expect when the clutch pedal is engaged. However there is no contact somehow of it going into gear. Any thoughts???

Dropped the money on Bixenon Projector retrofit. 35w potted ballasts. 4300k bulbs.
The decision did not come easy, as I was liking at HID floods (Hella, KC, Pro Comp, etc). I decided that I needed on road and off road functional lighting. I have done a projector retrofit on my zx6r and it was revolutionary. I decided retrofit is the best option to add to 2 led cube spots and I'll be adding 2 led cube floods soon. Forward lighting will be done.
