What is the biggest tire...

What is the biggest tire I can get on a standard TJ, with rubicon wheels? Tire guy says 245/75-16. Would like 265/70-16. He says they will rub. I veiwed the "washer fix" for rubbing in the newbie section. Will that work?

you could stuff 32's if you were only going to stay on road
