What is this strap for?!

There were two of these in the seat back. Wondering what they are...hopefully they make something easier! Thanks

I believe those are to hold your back window in place when you take the soft top down and have the window rolled up, my jeep is a HT so I'm not positive but it looks like they could be for that

The are for the soft top frame. When you put the top down , you wrap the straps around the folded frame to keep the frame in place. The straps to hold the rear window up is sewn into the top

You just wrap it around the frame on each side, imo, you really dont need them

No they are for holding the back seat up when it's folded and tumbled. You girth hitch it around the roll bar by the drivers seat belt. Fold the back seat up then slide the loop over the pin on the back seat. The raised end holds it on there and keeps the back seat standing up to increase storage.

Edit. Here's where it goes. I leave it there in place permanently. It stays put top down. I'd show it in action but there is a car seat you can't see on the other side I don't feel like taking out.
