What is your preference

I've got a 2000 wrangler 4.0 sport automatic.
I'm lazy and have done some hard riding and hit some pretty good mud with it.
It's got the 32rh tranny and I love it.
Do you like automatics or manual?

Once I pay this one off I might try to find someone to trade with me :P

Give me a manual, I wouldn't drive anything else.

Fair enough :P
I had many reasons for buying my automatic. Might be auto but I still wheel it

Nothing wrong with that at all, some people even argue that the auto is BETTER for wheeling, thats not why i prefer the stick, i just like rowin the gears, ya know?

Absolutely. I just moved to Alaska and didn't want to learn how to drive clutch on snow and ice so that too was a big reason.
I have driven stick before but not nearly enough to say I'm even decent at it

We've got 1 of each. I drive the auto and my son drives the 5 speed. We like em both!

Manual, I love driving the manual. You are connected to the car, it's hard to get distracted, helps keep me alert.
Auto is better for off-road because you can have an infinitely high crawl ratio
