What Kind of Jack do you use?

I am looking to get a hydraulic jack or two and some jack-stands that work well with the Jeep when I am working on her in the garage. I have two craftsman jacks (1& 1/2 tons each) for working on my other cars, but they can't really get the Jeep far off the ground because of her stock ground clearance.

Thanks as always
-James

I have some 2-1/2 ton stands that reach about 18" and worked fine when I was installing my RE lift. Get a floor jack that can lift as high or higher than the stands you get.

if the jack doesn't reach high enough to get the jeep at the right hight just put a wood block or two on the jack.

the stock lifter lifts my 35" tires about 4" over the ground. that´s enough for me.
