I made this with a rock I got out of a Colorado river bed. It fit my hand just right. I made a 4" extension to bond it to with epoxy.

I was thinking of that when I started reading this thread. Too long of a throw for my taste though.

Good luck in boot. Listen to the DIs and remember everything is done for a purpose that you might not know at the time.

Just pop out the plate that contains the shift pattern then you have to undo the nut holding it on.

Here is mine! I know you guys are dying to have one of these in your Jeep! LOL! But for you ladies out there I love this knob, it fits perfect with no scratching and none of the rhinestones have come out. I got it at auto zone.

I made a nice pistol grip one for a friend while i was in machine shop school. it was steel and quite heavy, so heavy it dropped outta gear when he'd hit a bump. so tip, if you want to make one make it light.

That's the coolest one yet! Had a Ka-Bar as a Boy Scout years ago. Was my most indispensable camping tool. The light leather handle eventually turned a nice dark color. Stolen from an apartment in college. Now have a newer one with a synthetic handle. GREAT idea for a shifter!!

I had 3 blank switch spots on mine, a couple minutes with a file and they fit right in there.

Did u buy the covers for the switched? I have the same ones just no stickers on them? Did u just put stickers on or buy them already labeled?

Better pic. Made the model out of wax then made a mold and a copy out of acrylic. Looks like a Rock from the top.
