The "explorer" on the shock gave it away. ProComps full name is Explorer Procomp.

they put them in backwards. it says procomp on the other side. your gonna have to unbolt em and twist them 180 degrees... :P

I just took off a set of those and tossed em. They were rough riding... I now have a set of Skyjacker Hydros that are running niiiiiiiicely!

yeah im not a huge fan of these shocks either, I am going to get some OME shocks here in a couple of months, I can't wait

skyjacker shocks are junk they didnt last one trip on my rig.......i would bet that the OMEs would hold up a lil better being a lil less main stream and seein as how i was very happy with them when i had them

For an overall shock you would probably be pretty happy with OME's. I actually use ProComps now on mine because they offer smokin options for lengths, and I could care less how rough they are since mine is a trail rig only.

yeah I heard good things about OME, mine is a DD so I need something practical that handles well off road to, so im thinkin it should be great for the kind of stuff I do, moderate trails nothin fancy

I would have rather had a set of OME, but my budget at this moment limited me, and 4WheelParts had a huge sale on Skyjacker...
