Ah, yes. I've been there many times myself (though not for a few years now... but I'm about to change that once the canyon opens).
Sherpa, us Utah County-uns should meet up and head up there as soon as it opens. Still be able to get into some snow patches! Would be fun!

My Jeep transforms...

Let's see...

My Jeep looked really cool right after I signed my name on the loan papers in 05 for an 03 TJ with only 11k miles for $13k.

It also looked really cool when I finally received the Deed in the mail after paying off the loan in 09.

Despite being dead sexy, I probably do bring the visual coolness down, for other people, when I'm behind the wheel. But I don't care, I'm behind the wheel!

Actually, for me it's not so much that Jeeps 'look' cool, it's more like thay 'are' cool. Jeeps aren't a visual vehicle for me, despite being a very visual person (voyer? I donno!?). It's the functionality, or 'fun' for short, of Jeeps that attracts me. For example, lifts may appear cool, but for me it's knowing that the lift allows the possibility for it to be that much more functional (fun). A prime example of the opposite would be the pic of the vomit enducing Jeep from earlier in the thread. It may 'look' cool to those with infantile intelligence (kind of like putting bright and sparkly mobils in a babys crib to distract them), but there is no value to me in something like that.

edit: ... oops ... pardon my semi rant!

There were a bunch of Transformers released from 2004 to 2006 ish with almost model car detail. The american version of the series is called "Alternators" and there were 3 Jeeps release: Green = original "Hound"(Autobot/Good guy), Yellow = "Swindle"(Decepticon/Bad guy), and Red = "Rollbar"(Autobot/Good guy). The Alternators are molded in plastics, but the Japanese versions (Takara or something like that) are built with quite a bit of metal.

Transformers were one of my top 2 favorite toys growing up and My Jeep is Green. When I saw it on ebay I had to have it, though since it isn't made any more, I had to pay a little bit for it. I could only afford the Alternator (plastic) Hound. I later bought a metal "Swindle" for less than I paid for the plastic Hound. Hound is apparently the most rare and desirable of the 3.

All 3 are TJ styles. The Yellow and Red both have tube body armor in front of the grill in chrome.

Nano, I admire your toy sourcing skills.
I want one and by all that I hold sacred "I shall find one"
However, let's clarify the "functuality" and "fun" thing.
Functuality = towing an H2 owner out of a ditch.
Fun = drive on.
I thank you.

Wait, is this your Jeep? I have this as a wallpaper on my phone! It's not the whole pic, it's zoomed in on the logo.

(EDIT) I was wrong about the wallpaper I have, it is very very similar though. Mine doesn't say "Unlimited", but it should because I actually have an Unlimited.... sooooo, I might have to steal you pic for a wallpaper...

Autozone has a uh light tint thing that you spray on it. It's about 10$ for a can and its only illegal if you spray a shit ton on. Two/three coats is plenty. I used two and they are legal!
