Question What mod's do I need?

I have an 04 Unlimited with 4" of susp. and 35" tires, I would like to do an additional 1" of body lift. Should I do something different with the stock drive shaft, which I've allready replaced a u-joint on. I bought the jeep just like it sits. I really dont know much about them, I think everything is just stock, other than the suspension and tires. Are there anyother mods I should be thinking about doing? Also, I dont really go off road that much, it's my daily driver.

Welcome to WF! I'd recommend the JKS 1.25 body lift and 1" Motor mount lift. Install the t-case adjustment bracket as well. If you're okay with vibes now, you will still be okay after the BL/MML. Rokmen has a couple good videos on BL/MML install. Google it.

As far as other mods - if you think you might go off road at all, armor is a logical next choice - especially rocker guards. Once you have the BL you can also do a belly up (raised t-case skid) to add an additional 2" of clearance.
Rokmen also sells that. Here's a link: Rokmen Products

PS We like pics!

If you dont have a SYE kit and rear CV DS, Id get that. Thatll be your weak point. Id get that before Armor.

He has an unlimited, so I'm not sure if he really needs the cv ds. I"m pretty sure that the unlimited already came with the SYE's stock, but I could be wrong.

Right - just the Rubicons. But like I said, if he doesn't have vibes now, he is probably okay without the SYE and longer DS - although it wouldn't hurt either. The BL/MML shouldn't add any problems. 4" suspension lift is right at the edge of needing the SYE for the LJ. Some will, some won't.

Edit: Just thought of something - If he happens to add the belly up after the BL and has 4" of SL already - he will likely need the SYE then. And rear upper adjustable control arms too.

I wasnt talking about the Sye and CV DS simply eliminating driveline vibes, theres a bigger purpose to it. At the angle its already at from a 4" lift, it will become the weak point in any wheeling trip.

Okay - I got ya. When I think SYE I'm thinking vibe elimination. You're right though, there is more to it. Makes me think that maybe I should include a SYE/DS when i go with a belly up skid eventually since the 2" SL and belly up comes to about 4".

It never ends.
