Had a guy pull in behind me at a gas station and ask "Is that a two inch lift?" Of course I replied with "No it's actually a 4" lift" He then proceeded to tell me how he drove one while on holiday in Australia and it was really quite economical??
Even if my Jeep is clearly covered in dirt and a little mud people never fail to ask " you been offroading at all? " I just smile and say yes all the time

But you need the first part of the punch line.....like "nope, took it to the high school fundraiser and the cheerleaders washed it....here's your sign" (kinda put a blonde joke in there too)
Can't recall too many notiable comments/conversations.... one of my favorites lately was as I was coming out of a store, a guy and his family parked next to me is some yuppie-mobile points at the booster seats in the back and says "I would like to be be one of your kids"... took a second, but I got it.
Have gotten alot of the 'looks like fun', 'is that good on gas?', 'it's too clean', 'aren't you cold?'....
I get some good looks too when I pass people on the highway, guess they don't expect a lifted jeep with howling tires, and an open top to pass them so effortlessly and smoothly.
fuel in my veins, mountains on the brain......
06 Unlimited - 2.5 ish lift, 31" KM2, working on it.
BUFFALO NY JEEPERS
after a little off roading at a gas station an elder guy comes up to me and ask how is the gas? I said prob 12 to 15. He was like man thats really good and better than what I get I'm looking to trade that for a Jeep. (he points to a very old rusty Ford truck with missing bumpers.)
How in the H do you get the key out of the ignition?
HAHA! My girlfriend who works on cars had that same issue! I had her dad do an alignment and she tried to get the key out and couldnt. I had to find a picture online and sent it to her of the key release button .
2000 solar yellow 4.0 sport 3" BDS, 1.25" JKS body lift, 1" Zone motor lift, JKS quicker disconnects, 33x10.5 BFG KM2 on black american racing wheels. D44 rear.
I hear a lot of people who had Jeeps wish they had them still. I don't want to be that guy either.
I love seeing women drive jeeps. I've also seen car seats and kids in the back having a good time. Some reason people think you will get decapitated with convertibles and Jeeps. They say that's dangerous? I'm like how many people you know lost their head in a jeep?
Day after I bought my TJ I was crawling out to head into the grocery store and a kid in the car next to me says HEY MOM LOOK AT THAT JEEP!!!!!! I smiled and knew I made the right decision on my new purchase.
