I can honestly say that my Jeep has been part of someones birthday wishes besides myself. This girl for her birthday wants me, her best (girl)friend, and another guy (my buddy who couldn't make it) to go out to eat and a movie for her big day. I'm talkin with her the day before and I ask her what I could get her (belated of course, since I didn't know I was involved until 2 days prior, which is why my friend couldn't go) and she said all she wants from me is to take the top down and be the DD.

Not me. I got rid of the woman, then got the Jeep (divorce). Now I'm on my second wife who hates my Jeep because of the $ I spend on it.

You know you're doing it right when people you see often say "so what are you driving now?"

I recently let my gf drive mine after a lot of hesitation. Then I got drunk at my work Christmas party and she drove home, there was something about watching her drive my lifted 6 speed in heels that was so sexy

maybe one day haha.

My gf only has her Ontario G1 learner's permit - we ended up getting her her own car (a slushbox civic). She can try my jeep when she feels comfortable, and hopefully she'll want a Jeep her own Though it's easy to convince her to want anything as long as it's pink.

You guys are doing it all wrong. Buy the toys before the girlfriend or wife comes along and then let her know how it is before they dislike anything.

It was about a month after I had gotten married and my wife turns to me while driving my Jeep and asks "When do we need to sell this to get the most money out of it?" I replied that she should have asked that question before we got married as the Jeep is going nowhere. She never has brought it up again and that was almost 13 years ago.

Awesome! I've got my friend wanting one right now. We've been on the hunt for a TJ. Hopefully soon we'll both be driving TJ's!

"Do you need a step ladder to get into that" - more of a joke than a serious question (although my mom needs a milk crate to step on to get in)

"is that trail rated?" (i cringe when i hear this)

A guy working the register at the parts store saw my jeep through the window and said "Nice Jeep. Do you have heat in that thing?" I said, "Thanks, and Yes I do." He says, "Yeah but is it warm when you drive it?" I said, "Yes haha". He goes, "Really? I had a Jeep and it was never warm, how did you do that?" I replied,"... I turned the heat on..."

Step 1) Drive it to anywhere women are
Step 2) Let women find you

exactly, my jeep has been around longer than any relationship and i make it clear that it's not going anywhere. they have no choice but to embrace it. altho they usually love it and find excuses to drive it.
