What oil should i use in my 04 sahara

My wrangler has 53000 miles, And it's bout time for oil change. I was seeing what oil everyone used. I was looking at the valvoline next gen oil but I usually use castroil oil. And should I use a oil additive

I use Valvoline 10w/30 at 69,000 miles. Your mileage is nothing extreme. Look at the manual and see what weight is recommended and go from there. I would not even waste my money on additives as all oil is good as long as you change it when you should.

Synthetic is more expensive but u can go a little longer between changes usually about 6,000 miles. Synthetic is my oil choice.

Choose whatever floats your boat. Anything you buy is adequate enough to protect your engine.

I personally use Mobil 500 5/10w-30. Don't see the point in spending the extra money on synthetic when I still change the oil in shorter intervals before winter and before summer. I also change the filter every time.
