I think I will so I'll js scuff it up and all....... What do u think about doing the same thing to the kc light and the inside of headlight????? If anyone had any pictures of a bed linnered bumper I would appreciate it
You dont want to scuff it up if your gonna plasti dip
Yeah definitely while your at it you can do it to your headlight bezels and mirror brackets just make sure to sand those puppies down a bit look like their oxidized or somethin, mine looked that way when i first got them----gotta get rid of that chrome lol
I definitely appreciate it guys... Is it hard to remove bumpers/light Bezels/mirrors/kc lights to paint them? Would u prime them first? What kind of prep work should I do to bed liner inside to run carpet less? Would u undercoat it as well or leave the under body with stock paint???
Nope removal is a piece of cake, all you need is a set of torx bits, which you should invest in a good set anyway since your gonna need them for amost everything. As for paint bedliner doesn't need a primer just some simple prepping with sandpaper to promote better adhesion and a wipe down with alcohol or mineral spirits to remove the dust left over.
What kind of prep work does the inside need to bed liner it? Also would u do undercarriage? How many cans u think I will need??? With and without the undercarriage? If u think I should do undercarriage what Kind of prep work is needed on that????
Never done it myself but have a few friends that did and it turned out awesome, waiting on a free weekend to do it too. From what I have heard Mostaliner is one of the best diy's you can buy. Heres a link to a pretty good write up that my buddy used. Mostaliner Interior - Install and Write-Up - JeepForum.com
Check this thread out, im pretty sure it will keep you busy for hours-- i think the page count is at like 200 and something. Plenty of cheap easy mods, some are ridiculously cheesy but there are quite a few awesome ones too!!
