what to do next?

ill have between 1500-2000 to spend on my jeep after i purchase my 8.8 and get the front regeared

i dont think i want to lift my jeep any higher for now, i want to do some more modding before i lift it higher..

my list is as follows

tires - 600
front tube fenders - 600

what should i spend the last 800 on?

im thinking of a sye (200-300)
maybe a new exhaust or cold air intake

what are your guys suggestions?

yep for the most part.. anything thats not in my sig is irrelevant

i think im going to have to run a 1'' front wheel spacers with 1.25-1.5'' rear spacers to get my wheels lined up after i do the 8.8 axle swap tho =X so theres a 100$ less

I think it is now time for some armor. It's the mod no one wants to do but it will be the one you appreciate the most.

Differential covers
Gas tank skid
Beef up your steering
Belly-up
Rock sliders

You get the idea.

ehh sry =D

if i could.. id take more than 4 grand out of my bank account to drop into my jeep.. on top of what ive dropped into it this summer =/

but im limiting myself to 3000-3500 lol

right now im not getting too serious into lifting it.. gonna run 33s until i get all front/rear tube fenders.. then ill add a 4.5'' la lift and 34s.. but this wont be for 2-3 years (maybe a little less)

right now im a college student again and wont have much offroading time until this winter or next summer, so im just trying to get all the necessities done.. like doing the sye or maybe even a locker for my d30

im interested in the belly-up.. but no one around where i live has done that kind of thing (i've sort of looked into it a while back)

what are you referring to when you say ''beef up your steering"?

the differential covers are coming for sure =D d30's will be ordered with my next paycheck.. the 8.8 will be after i get it installed..

I've never tackled a belly-up skid myself and I know it can be a fairly involved mod. I'm sure someone here has done one and can give you some advice on that.

Armor is a good start, but I would also throw in a performance intake and exhaust( or at least a new muffler). Those made a huge difference for me! I got the Intake for $50 on ebay, and a new cherrybomb muffler at Kragen for $50. I can feel the power difference, and I know it helps mpg out somewhat( great for a student like me or you).
