What to do with Old Factory Bumpers

I replaced my front and rear bumpers of my 05 Wrangler. The old bumpers are in good shape.

What should I do with the old bumpers? I was thinking about selling them. Any thoughts?

Sell them. Someone who bought their Jeep with ugly bumpers will want them. But being so heavy, you'll probably want to sell them locally. I'd try Craigslist, and the for sale section here.

I sold mine on Craig's List. I don't remember how much I got for them, but they sold locally pretty quick.

Either CL like they said or if you can't find a buyer and are tired of them sitting around I'm sure there's enough weight there to pull $15-20 at a scrap yard.

The rear is only 21 lbs, including the end caps, installation hardware, and box with packing material. I just shipped my rear bumper to WA from central Kansas and it only cost me $22 at the Post Office. Sold it on eBay.

Those stock bumpers are flimsy junk!,I pulled mine off and replaced them soon after buying my Jeep!I pulled the "milk jugs" off and sold them on eBay-I got like 60 bucks for all 4.The metal parts are laying in my scrap metal pile-I might be able to use them to fabricate something someday.Otherwise,it wasn't worth the hassle to me to deal with selling them!

I said the same thing. Meanwhile, my bumpers just collected dust while sitting in the garage. Might as well get some coin for them. I have a Jeep fund that I add to every month. Every factory take-off I sell gives me more $$ to spend on the next upgrade. If nothing else, it's easier to justify when buying something new, knowing you can recoup some of your $$ when you sell the stocker.....
