I'm planning on driving up Provo Canyon here in Utah, tonight. Not planning on doing any offroading, but with any luck the rain will hold off, and I'll drive up topless.

Looks like my lights aren't showing up, and I don't feel like washing it, so I guess just driving it this weekend.

I am taking it to the local Southington offroad Park tommorow for some offroading. It should be fun because theres like 3 jeeps and one ford ranger and were all pretty much buddies so this should be fun.

I swapped out the PO's Air Raid intake system for a factory air box. Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems to run better...

Mine is apart in the garage since I am getting the axles regeared and locked. But for the last 3 days I have been putting in my Jeep medic TT skid, had to drill and set new nutserts since the bolt pattern is different. It was a pain since I couldn't figure how to crush the nutserts but I finally got one right and the rest were cake. For today I am looking to get my Currie rock ribz on and maybe my new control arms. Hopefully I can get my axles back tommorow and start in on that.

Got my new tires, rims, trackbar relocation bracket, but didn't receive my new springs yet. Got the tires mounted to the rims. Was hoping I could work on the 2.5" OME lift, but I guess that will have to wait till next weekend. That's about it. Smashed the ring finger on my left hand pretty good getting the new 32" tires out of my suv.

Nothing but intermittent showers and storms here in MD. Got too many chores around the house to get done. Mustang is throwing a CEL. Gotta work on that first. Not going to consider doing much else.

Dropped the top Friday. Wired in the satelite radio. Changed the spark plugs. Cleaned the throttle body. Still have to change oil. Maybe do that Monday.

I've simply been enjoying it. Driving with the top down all weekend. Weather has been awesome. Low to mid 80's. Cannot beat that.

First I dropped the trans skid and POR-15 painted the frame contacts where I discovered rust begining to show. I followed all the steps so I wouldn't have to do it again, and did the frame where it mounts. Still need to do my front brakes (rotors and pads) and bleed the system till I have fresh fluid, but I might put that off another week and just BBQ and drink beer.

Lots of last-minute prep for running the Rubicon Trail later this week. We head out at the butt crack of dawn Wednesday morning.

Did that quite a bit when I went to college in Provo, beautiful drive and some of the best fly fishing. Logan canyon is not too bad either and the leaves are already starting to change.

I will be parking my Jeep at work on Monday as I took Thursday and Friday off last week.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but when the install instructions for my lift call for specific torque to tighten the bolts (30lbs, 60lbs, etc.) is it important to buy one of those torque wrenches and somehow measure those? Can I just tighten with all my strength?

I would buy a torque wrench. You set the lbs and it pops when you get to that. You could over tighten bolts and technically you could snap small ones off from being too tight.

for me it depends on what it is I'm torquing... for critical stuff I go by the torque specs... for everything else it gets German torque, guttentight.

Drove it around with the top off and then got it muddy and washed it. Now its wet inside because of the darn rain and it smells.

Swap out my Warn front bumper for my new Genright. Then reinstall the OEM kc slimlights from the outside corner mount to the poison spyder fairlead mount.

Anyone know if the OEM wiring is long enough or am I gonna have to extend it?
