100 days of summer vacation = 14 weeks of pay
16600 / 14 weeks of pay = 1185 per week after taxes

That's 1580 per week at pre tax income if you are claiming dependents.

1580 per week at 52 weeks per year = 82160 in salary per year

Which = you are full of crap

No problem with you working hard and no problem with you learning.
In life you will learn, though, that people dont appreciate bs, there is nothing wrong with living life as it actually exists and, in the long run, people appreciate and respect honesty not impressive unrealistic stories that land you with no long term friendships and leave people unable to trust your word.
Btw...that salary would put you close to the top 1% earners in America and leave you open to a 30+ % tax rate. The median income in LA is around 35k for a household of 4 so I hope you are helping your parents with the bills.

what did i say that was a lie? please tell me. i really want to know. im not a lier. and no i dont need to help my parents pay for the bills bc my dad makes over 100,000 a year..WHY? bc he had an abuse dad, he learned never to quit and back down. he's the hardest working person ive ever meet, my dads my hero. he taught me from the beginning. Finish what you start and do it to the best of your ability. so i dont know to many 16s who work 40hr weeks or who has ONCE worked a 50hr week.

he paid me $10 an hour. my dad makes me work for my money. my dads made over 200,000 some years when he worked on the Super Dome after Katrina hit. or years following around 180,000.

I worked that much, my dad taught me the same thing, he made much less, but the reality stands...you didn't make that much over the summer. And my dad didn't have a dad...so mine trumps you there, my grandfather died when my dad was 13 leaving him to raise his crippled younger brother and my other uncle with his mom On a positive note it's good your dad is your hero. Start working hard on telling the truth about reality. It's perfectly fine not to have false confidence about things that you didn't actually accomplish. Real confidence goes much further with the ladies anyway.

Yep, I didn't do it in my head, I used a calculator and god bless you for wanting to serve. Do the math...it adds up. The more likely situation is that you are working off an agreement with your dad...but again...be real about it. Don't throw out crazy timelines to impress...they don't. And pray you end up in San Diego for basic. It's beautiful out there. South Carolina is a hell hole.

you know nothing about my dad. his parents were divorced at age 3. dad gone 100% at time at war. my dad had NO ONE there for him untill his step dad who beat the heck out of him everyday telling my dad he's worthless and will end up doing nothing with his life. PLEASE tell me what i have but falsely said about reality! BC SO FAR YOU HAVENT... i have real confidence and your fighting with a 16 year old right now. so i think your the one laking confidence.

I'm not fighting...I'm bored and you are full of it. I'm not going to go grandfather for grandfather with you...it's irrelevant. Let's talk reality...which you have yet to address. How did you make 14,400 - 2k ish = @12k in 100 days?

At that rate you were making $21.42 per hour or post tax 44.5k per year or roughly 75k per year...which means unreported labor or income. Either of which I have no problem with because of the rediculious taxation laws, but also leaves either your dads reputation or your word at stake...which is more important to you?

That's not including the 3k you dropped in mods.

Which is more important? Your dads reputation or your word? This I have to hear.

Oh wait, did I add I'm 16 and worked 40hr weeks over the summer to pay off my jeep? or that I did everything myself? Black spray paint... Shits awesome prick
Let's take it back to the original quote...it all could've been avoided if you simply stated you were helping to pay for the jeep, not claim that you were paying for the whole thing. Again, no need to impress...my dad who had his ass kicked all of his life also did and still does everything he can to help out. My dad gave me my yj in college and then gave me a couple of grand to fix it up after I graduated since I got a full ride. But I don't falsely advertise that. it's ok to have good parents and to advertise up front that they help you out. It's something everyone should do and I do with my daughter...because she deserves it.
