Cool Whats 6th gear like?

Just wondering what its like to actually drive in 6th gear? hahaha

Not long bought the jeep i have now and its been fairly well setup with awesome suspension and 33's but is still running the original 3.07 diff gears

Can comfortable cruise on the freeways in 4th and 5th gear with it. lol. Hoping within the next few weeks to have 4.56's and air lockers front n rear which will should help it off road and i'll finally get to use 6th gear on the freeways.

My TJ doesn't have a 6th, (it barely has a 5th ha!) but I've been curious about this too.

6th gear should be just like over drive in any other vehicle. No power, but cruise like mad and when you would get your best mpg, on the highway!

It basically completely changes the entire driving experience, makes it handle like an Italian sports car, accelerate like an American muscle car, and even time travel like the DeLorean.

6th comes in handy for flat highway crusin at 60mph+. If you need to climb a hill or pass someone then downshift. I use it everyday on my commute to work.
Now I really wish there was a 6th gear on my wife's Scion tC. I am constantly yanking it out of 5th when on the highway because it revs so high with the close ratio shifter.

6th is needed with 4.10 and 31"s ( rubicon) . Here on the flat side of the country I wish I had more of an overdrive. 2600rpms at 65-70. 33s or 35s should get that in check. Now I use 6th at any cruise 45 and up
