The zipper on my rear window is really difficult to open and close. It looks like the teeth are not lining up just tight. Here's a photo of what it looks like when closed, am I not lining up the two zippers when I start on the left side?? I played with it for a while yesterday and kept getting the same result.
You are just not getting the pull started from the right position. Prop your window on the wheel wells and when attaching, hold the zipper foot and pull down hard on the bottom corner of the window to make sure that it is seated properly. You will know as soon as you start to pull it up if it is right. You might want to put a bit of soap or wax on it to help it seat easier. (do not attach the retaining bar until it is zipped)

As indicated above and is obvious in the second picture, you don't have it lined up. You pushed the tab on the window side to far into the slider. Pull the slider aroungd from the right side and reinsert the window tab.

i use sex wax it's thicker and resistant to heat. had the same problem with the back and my windows (when i still had them on ) but the sex wax fixed it right up. you can get it for like 1$ and the bar will last for a long time.
