I know we have members that can punch in the VIN for you, and can tell you the fair market value of this Jeep. I would go to Kelley's Blue Book, and put in all the information. They will give you a very good assessment of it's worth.

http://www.kbb.com/

They are always going to ask at least $2,000 more than what they paid for it.

I checked all 3 paragraphs of the forum rules and I think your okay. Does seem a bit high . I would check both KBB.com and edmunds.com and avg those to get a price. Keep in mind the dealer most likey paid KBB "fair" trade in value for it or lower.

Someone is advertising this on our website, looks very simular. Look at the price he is asking.

2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Metallic Khaki with Black Tops
20k Miles, In perfect shape
Man. Trans. 4.0L
Factory Dual Tops (hard/soft)
Dana 44 rear axle
Will Deliver to DFW! Jeep is in the Austin Area
$17,500 obo (Sticker was, $26.5k just 20k miles ago.)

So yes, I would say the one your looking at is very expensive. And I bet it has A/C as well. Both tops, and the D-44 rear axle. That is a great addition.

I wouldn't buy anything without AC. I don't have the top on much, but I gotta have the option. It sounds like a lower end Wrangler, from what I'm seeing. The only thing it does have, is the 6.

Bingo, that's why I would say it's worth about 15k. But I do live in Phoenix and it's 112 here today.

Thanks for all the replies , i think i'll wait for one with the right options . You're right the a/c is a must , if nothing else but for the resale down the road . What year did the six speed come out ?

Here's a dumb question , where are Jeeps built ? It sure seems like your prices new are better than the new prices out here .
It must have a little to do with shipping ?? I'm seriosly considering a new '06 . Ofcourse i'll have to sell a vehicle or two.
lol .

I believe all Wranglers are still built in the Ohio facility.
